Did you know that a lot of older people give up on exercise and just one out of four people over 65 do regular exercise. Most people assume they're too out -of-shape, sick, or tired, or just think they are to old to exercise

They're wrong

Anyone can exercise at any age.

There is no upper limit to getting and keeping fit, and even though keeping fit is important at any age as you gets older it almost becomes more important to look after your health so doing regular exercise and eating a healthy diet can make a lot of difference to your lifestyle.

Exercise can help make you stronger, prevent bone loss, improve balance and coordination, lift your mood, boost your memory, and ease the symptoms of many chronic conditions.

There are many myths that stop older people from exercising.

There is a common myth that getting older means getting decrepit. It's not true, there are many people in there 70s, 80s, and 90s that are out running marathons and becoming body-builders. a lot of symptoms that we associate with old age, such as weakness and loss of balance are just symptoms of inactivity , not age.

Exercise improves more than just your physical health. It can improve the memory, and help maintain your way of life.

 

Back Pain can stop people of any age from Exercising not just the old, and is often coursed by having week core and postural muscles. these can be very easily dealt with by doing the right resistance programme.
